I really love the tail, and are those feathers? The colors are really lovely! It kind of reminds me of a bird/dinosaur hybrid, though I suppose that's what dragons are... awesome!!! And lol the paper is really nice
This is absolutely beautiful! The very first thing I noticed were the colors, which remind me very much of a sunrise. I love how well you blended them together and represented them in nearly equal parts. It can't be described as merely a purple dragon with pink and orange accents but a tri-color pink-orange-and-purple dragon. Actually with all those frills and feather-like appendages it seems more like a bird, or a sea creature, like the leafy sea dragon. It looks more suited to 'swimming' through the air than flapping like a bird or bat.The white spots and patterns make the scales look almost iridescent. It's white gel pen and colored pencil, isn't it? It doesn't say in the description. A few things I want to mention though: the right hind leg looks a little oddly shaped compared to the rest of the body, but perhaps that was intentional. Also I notice that the left side limbs aren't as pronounced, but again I think you probably did that on purpose so as not to distract from the main part of the dragon. Even though I personally would have finished the left limbs, I think your way is very interesting, too. In conclusion, there are so many dragons here on the DA that it takes something special for one to stick out of the nearly homogeneous crowd, and this one has it. Really well done!
I'm happy, that you like it!
